“Beiyou 26”, the firstdomestic luxurious aluminum high-speed ferry built by Aulong, has successfullycompleted the sea trials on 24 June. After two days of voyage test, all the operatingparameters of the vessel met or exceeded the original design target.

As the large luxuriousaluminum high-speed ferry Aulong builds for Beihai ENNOVA Cruise Co., Ltd,“Beiyou 26”has broken three records of the largest principal dimension, thebiggest passenger capacity and the highest single vessel price built indomestic China, with the design parameters of L.O.A of 70.6m, beam of 17m,maximum speed of 34kn and passenger capacity of 1200pax. The vessel areintegrated with the advance shipbuilding process and core technology from bothparent companies—Austal and Jianglong (stock code: 300589), the wholeconstruction process is monitored and controlled by the Austal’s qualitymanagement team. The vessel quality is fully benchmarked to the world leadinglevel by featuring in the solid structure strength, optimized hull line, fast speed,strong wind and wave resistance, reliable safety and high passenger comfort.
